In the past few years, it has become a good tradition for the students of the Sunday school at the Assumption Cathedral (Odintsovo district, Moscow oblast) to visit EkoNivaAgro.

It took the little travellers nine hours to arrive at the farm. However, the guys were not bored during the ride, they were sharing their dreams about future. It turns out the young generation puts high priority on education and self-development.
This is exactly the mission of the Academy of Dairy Sciences– to broaden children’s outlook. After the farm tour, the guests were notably more informed about cows, calves and the technology processes and fond of dairy products. Everybody enjoyed tasting yoghurts and other treats by the Academy.
Fyodor Kotenev, an 11-year old student of the Sunday school, shared his plans for the future, ‘I would like to build my own dairy farm one day. Right now, I would bring one of your cows to my summer house gladly. I would milk her, take good care of her and feed her to delicious stuff. If you invite me to work here one day, I will be really happy to come.’
Lyubov Kondratyeva, Director of the Sunday school, was also deeply impressed,

‘It’s the fourth time we have visited this marvelous place together with the students. Of course, it is the rotary at the milking parlour and little calves that fascinate my pupils most of all. When back at home, they tell their parents about it with great excitement.
Setting off for the trip for the first time, we had no idea what was in store for us. But upon arrival, we were astonished at how hospitable and open the workers were and how clean the farm was. Now, visiting the farm is a privilege our students have to earn.’

And we remind you that if you also dream of touring EkoNiva’s modern dairy, all you have to do is sign up for the tour, and you are guaranteed to spend unforgettable time in the open air that would benefit both your health and your soul.
