Ekosem-Agrar AG: Significant increases in revenue and earnings in the financial year 2022

Walldorf, 14 April 2023 - On the basis of the preliminary, as yet unaudited consolidated key figures for the financial years 2021 and 2022, the business development of Ekosem-Agrar AG in the financial year 2022 is very positive.
Ekosem-Agrar Group's revenues increased by approx. 64% to EUR 957 million (2021: EUR 583 million); in rubles, the increase in revenues was approx. 31%.
The total output of the Ekosem-Agrar Group increased by 1.7 times to EUR 1.1 billion in 2022 (2021: EUR 657 million); in rubles, the increase in total output was approx. 36%.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of Ekosem-Agrar Group amount to approx. EUR 399 million in the financial year 2022 (2021: EUR 188 million). This corresponds to an increase in EBITDA of approx. 112%; in rubles, the increase in EBITDA was approx. 60%.
Despite the positive figures for the financial year 2022, which are also based to a considerable extent on currency influences, and the stable operational development, there are still major challenges for the German holding company Ekosem-Agrar AG with regard to the transfer of funds to Germany.
